Not able to connect my corby txt usb with my

Hello,
i am not able to connect the data cable with samsung corby mobile.it always give give me a message that one of the usb devices attached to the computer has malfunctioned and windows does not recognize it.....i am using windows 7 version....please help me and provide me a solution ....so that i can transfer my data to my laptop...
