Hello, I have an Acer Laptop, I was normally editing on photo shop when it just shut off by its self and then it restarted and after it says " ACER press f12 to run setup " it restarts again. I have the recovery Disk for Vista, but when I put in the CD and it reads it, the laptop restarts on its own :S I've also tried the Hiren cd and still does the same thing =\ anybody know what else could I try?

This does not sound like virus. Most likely you have a motherboard or hard drive issue.
