Like a whole lot of other people want to use my  cell phone as a modem: here,s what i have towork with. 

HP Pavilion dV6000 

LG phone Model VX9100BLA  cell phone provider is Verizon phone does haVE INTERNET SERVICE 

have a usb cable to tether 
OS vista 
Almost no computer smarts 

Need step bvy step instructions for a not so smart (edited)!!!   Plz  be gentle

Hi there,

Internet activated is great,now install pc suite for the handset model,after this create a dial up connection with settings from isp.Connect mobile to pc via data cable and connect to your dial up connection,
