no you dont. so long as you've got a little bit of common sense and know-how, you should be able to manage just fine.

Yes, brainiac, you can connect two SATA disks. Generally there's a 1-to-1 relationships between open ports and possible amount of things you plug in. (there are exceptions, but someone like you should probably stick to that rule)

There are no jumpers to set on SATA drives. A big improvement that is...I've despised those blasted jumpers ever since the days of Windows 3.1!!!
Hello, Can I connect 2 SATA hard disks to my computer, I have two ports. If yes, Is there any jumper setting i.e. master-slave like we have in IDE hard disks? Thanks!
