Blue screen error

Hello,plz guys i always get a bluescreen when installing windows xp on my dv6 laptoo . but it showed blue screen error. i also check in bios for sata or ide option but there is nothing. the message states something like this setup could not continue if this is the first time...........chect for viruses on ur computer......run chkdsk-f....and so on....
So please somebody help me out in solving out this issue.How can I install windows xp.Is it possible. I am waiting for ur reply.....

Dear Kaka,

In order to be able to help you, I require the error code on the blue screen. It is a 10 caracter code beginning with 0x.
