Dell Latitude c840 not started

Hello,

I have Laptop Latitude c840 when I press power button all three lights turn ON for 3 seconds then get back to OFF and no thing started my laptop still OFF what is the solution?

Is the computer connected to the power supply when you try this ?

Hello saly ,

AS per your given description on issue is it hot when its off?also as asked by Jeff are you currently using battery or power adapter is connected to it?

i am having same problem from 3 days,

my laptop was working fine but i got mad to clean it :(
& i opened it & after all clean this same error is coming :(

The laptop donot Heats up
on battery same problem
on power same problem..

PlEASE help us with c840 :(
