Dell Inspiron 1564 service tag

Hello,

I have a problem with the service tag of my Inspiron 1564. When I try to put the service tag (35J9ZL1) in the field on Dell's web site, it says

"There was a problem with your submission.
Your service tag was not recognized. Please check your service tag and try again."

So I checked again and again, tried with and without Caps Lock on, tried to change the "J" letter with "I" and so on... but there was no result.

please, help me. why the system does not recognize my service tag?

the ExpresCode was not recognized too

Hello,

Try this 1.

Click on the below link and follow the instructions. (Use Internet Explorer)

http://support.dell.com/support/downloads/index.aspx?c=us&cs=19&l=en&s=dhs

Click on " Find My Service Tag" --> Accept the agreement by clicking on "Yes, I do

agree" --> This will scan your product to collect its Service Tag and provide

all the information like the warranty, drivers etc.

Thank you for the answer :)

I tried to do this but it didn't help me. when my product was scanned the same service tag was shown. I copied and pasted it into the field and the result was absolutely the same "your service tag was not recognized" :(
