My battery stopped charging

Hello,
i have hp laptop model 6730s, during a power failure i was using it on battery n when power came back on the icon showed that my laptop is on ac power n not charging my battery that i have used up for one hour approx......please help me out.

Hi,

There is two possibilities. Please try your charger on another laptop. If the charger is working, then the faulty device should definitely be the battery.

Hi,

Shut down laptop and remove battery from it ,after few minutes fit it back in slot and see the difference and give your feedback.
