Surge power on usb hub port

Hello,

i have dell latitude d505.
when i start laptop i see dis problem on my desktop
"surge power on usb hub port"
and i cant connect anythin on port
when i connect my cell phone via cable ma laptop going hang.
plz help..

Hi,

You need to plug the device directly to usb port or if using a usb hub then use one which has its own power supply with it.
