Yo, don't give up if it doesn't work the first time... I think it took me 3 rotations before I got rid of the black-sky neon snowfall and was warmly greeted by PS3 magenta...

Small Samsung TV gave a "Not Supported Mode" error. This fix had our PS3 up and running in less than 3 minutes. Thank you!
