UPS efficiency

Hello,

i need to know if there is any side effect on powering up and shutting down of a 30kva UPS machine on a daily basis.

Hi,

No but till its switched on it will be in your advantage that is power will be stored while its turned off it can slowly get discharged and when in need after power cut it will not provide you 100% of supply only the remaining will be supplied to you.
