Drop down list and find and place

Hello, all
Is it possible to combine a find and insert with drop down list.
I mean A1 is drop down list which allows the user to enter T1 or T2 or T3 so when the user tries to enter any other word the excel returns false. I tried to add a formula in A1 that looks for a word in G1 and if it finds it, then the word is placed in A1 but the excel returns restricted and cannot be done. Is there a way to do what I am looking for.
Please if anyone knows how to solve this I would be really grateful.

your requirement is not completely clear
try this and see whether it is o;k
in T4 copy ths fomurl
=G1
now in A1 do validation and the list is T1 to T4
