Having some troublr shooting

Hello,

after installed new external lan card i am not able to oprate my operating system its always giving error message & instantly machine is getting reboot can yu plz help out......

remove the card chek the gold fingers on the pci side and that it is seating correctly, it might not be plug and play so you might need to load the driver before you install the card.
