Comparing two worksheets

Hello,
I have two worksheets containing financial accounts and their YTD values in exact same formats. One worksheet is for 2009 and one is 2010. One year contains some additional account numbers. How can I do a year to year comparison so I can see which year was higher or lower YTD values? I don't know how to do this when one worksheet contains entreis that are not on the other.

you can match the value by vlookup.
if not get the solution, than
please upload a sample EXCEL file WITH sample data, macro, formula , conditional formatting etc on some shared site like https://authentification.site , http://docs.google.com, http://wikisend.com/ , http://www.editgrid.com etc
AND post back here the link to allow better understanding of how it is now and how you foresee. Based on the sample book, could you re-explain your problem too.
Note: your data need not be to be real data but a good representative of how data looks like
