DVD disappeared
Solved/Closed
Hi,
I had recently restored my Vista 32 Home premium system after crash and I have noticed, that my dvd drive disappeared. I have allready tried to follow intructions about deleting upper and lower filters from regedit.exe but these filters were not there. So I tried to reinstall drivers but no succes. DVD is still in shown in bios and system manager. Any ideas how to fix it ? I will be gratefull for any idea. Thank you

Greetings,
Have your tried going into Settings from the Start menu, select Control Panel, then select Add Harware. Follow the directions and see if you can force recognition.
Good Luck
