Hello, There...

I seem to have a problem here...
I have a laptop wherin i want to install Win XP. I already have a win xp bootable disk and the laptop does boot into it.

The problem is that in the setup screen it displays as "No Hard disks were Found or Detected. Press f3 to quit Setup"

I have tried it in many Laptops and the same thing keeps appearing in all the laptops.

Please help...

hi,
check in the BIOS if the hard drive is enabled, if not, enable it.
you stated that this problem happened when you tried the cd in other laptop as well, so this leads to the conclusion that your bootable disk is faulty.
get another one.
