Dell dimension 2400 Diskette drive 0 failure

Hello,
My computer was on and then all of a sudden it went to a black screen and gave me a message that said there was an error. I dont remember what the error was but I found a solution on the internet. Then it said there was a Diskette drive 0 seek failure error. Some one please help me.

There are two fixes:
1. go to the BIOS setup and disable the floppy drive.
2. get your CMOS battery replaced that's an old computer and needs a new battery.

I replaced the battery and I believe I turned the floppy drive off and it is still showing me this message. Any other ideas.
