My driver has gone for my lan port

Hello,
i have a gigabyte amd socket am3 ga-880gm-ud2h with a amd phenom x6 2.8 and ati hd6790 grafics card i had my system wiped due to a error and when i got it back from nova tec i have no lan driver i tryed downloading the driver from the gigabyte site but afer windows 7 extracts the file there is no change its just says no drivers for lan the green light is no next to the port so can ANY 1 HELP. please

Greetings,

I'll advice you to return to the website and download chipset driver. Sometimes you need to install the chipset driver first then install the lan driver before it works properly.

iv tryed that then as a back up plan iv re downloaded all the software for my motherbord and maybe the chip set driver but in the end i went back 2 nova tec and payed £16 for a d link gigabite ehternet card and it came with the driver works realy well and a easy fix shame i had to pay but at least it was cheep. thanks for ur help tho.
