Acer Aspire 6935 (Bios) Problem..

Hello,
I am using ACER ASPIRE 6935 since last two years. Everything worked fine on it until last nite when I tried to start it up and I am only getting the Acer main screen (bios)...no sounds. what can I do to fix this? there are files on the system that I need to retrieve.

This could be a failure of the hard disk. I would first check the connection to the disk.

i think the connections are fine.. what should i do know?

I suggest you take it to a repair shop for evaluation.
