Can someone please help me with this?

Hello,


I have a dell inspiron 5150 and am connecting to a new hdtv tv through the s-video cable and cannot get a picture. I tried to watch a you tube video and it plays on my computer but not on the tv. I used a newer laptop and it worked through the hdmi connectors but I want to use this computer. Can anyone please help? Any advise would be greatly appreciated. Thank You!!! My operating system is XP and I use Firefox if that matters.

This sounds like Windows is failing to load. This could be a hardware problem with the hard drive or a software problem with Windows. Which version of Windows are you using?
I suspect you will need to take the laptop to a repair shop and pay them to do a diagnostic.

One trick you can use for backup is to email each chapter to a new email address and leave the email unopened on the server. That way your document is always stored in multiple places.
