Please can you help me set my Toshiba Satellite Pro L20-189 on XP Proffesional Back to its factory settings!

Hi,
Press and hold 0 key when the computer is starting. It will give you the options to restore to factory default settings.

Just bleeps and when I let go of the 0 key it jumps into windows
Why don't I get recovery options.
(note: this is a XP Pro laptop)
