How do I take out the battery from my toshiba

Hello, I have a problem with my toshiba satellite a55-s1064. It turns on but a black screen comes out with white letters saying ''sorry for the inconvinions and something about Safe Mode'' I heard taking out the battery will work, but I dont know how to do that either!! Please help
