keys not working Closed

Question

Hello, 



keys zxcvbnm and escape key not working. moreover these keys are not detected by notpad or any other typing application like MS Word etc. 
other keys work well. 
also "left alt+F4" not working as it should.(as "right alt + F4" closes running application) 
what could be the problem, pls help...urgent

There are 2 reasons leading to this problem. 
One is hard drive and the other is the your operating system. 
You can use the soft keyboard on the computer to ensure system is ok. 
And you can try to exchange a keyboard to see the keys is ok or not?

Actually I've come to realize that some of  these keys are strangely working sometimes for a few minutes so the keyboard is still working i;e ,also ever since the keys ceased to work, my google chrome browser too is working very slowly.Is it a virus infection?
P.S-I used my on screen keyboard to type all this :(
Plz help me out!!!
