Pc is full of viruses Closed

Hello, 



Configuration: Windows XP / Safari 534.7
My Pc is full of viruses. It does weired activities at times. many has suggested me to format the C drive. but i have a huge data loaded in it. can i free my pc from all these viruses through any anti virus software without formatting it?
