Home group

Hello,
I am trying to set up a homegroup I have been trying for two days.
What services need to run. Everytime i run the troubleshooter it says network issues but then it doesn't tell me the issue. I have the compter I want to connect to showing up and I can see access one of the files but not the c drive which is what I need. I have turned on all the sharing options. Please help. One computer wont let it even creat a home group. Thanks
