40 GB prn drive

Hello,
Guys... when I copy small files into my 40GB pen drive, it remains OK. But whenever I copy bigger files like a total folder of songs or Videos of sizes around 20GB or 30Gb and eject it, the files become corrupted the next time I renter the pen drive into the computer.
Please help me. I tried with HP disk storage format tool but it didn't help me. It helped me only to format it completely. One of my friend said that that these pen drives has a virus in it which corrupts the files the next time I inser it in computer.

Somebody help me with my problem.

It sounds like you have a counterfeit drive with less than 40GB. I would demand a refund from the seller. See this web page for more info:
