How to create a lan network setup in xp and 7 and share file

i have 2 computer in xp and seven. u i just format both computer after that i use rj45 to connect.(via pc to pc without router).
so pls tell me all how to setup network for file sharing.
i use 198.168.0.1 and 198.168.0.2 in pc. and change network id to workgroup. but when i share any folder in xp in show to create some network setup wizard i am confused how to solve this problem.
pls send me ans by step to step. and tell me process in 1 and 2nd computer and if u have video then pls give me link for this
