Hi CHINMAY,
Try changing how quickly you must click the buttons to perform a double-click by following the steps below:
1. Click Start button, select Control Panel, and double click Mouse.
2. Click the Buttons tab, under Double-click speed, move the Speed slider toward Slow or Fast.
If the above steps don't fix the issue the problem might be with the button of the Mouse. If the mouse button is sticky it might cause this type of problems. Try using a different mouse and see if there are any changes.
