Can you please tell me how to hard reset nokia E5-00 that won't start

my phone is locked, so does that mean none of this nethods will work?

If your phone is locked the above will not work.

I would love to help you, but you must be able prove that you are the phone's legitimate owner and you can't. How do we know that you have not stolen the phone?
