Computer cannot read USV

Hello,

I was working on a word file from a USV in my desktop; when I tried to save, the USV would not respond and a message indicated that the computer did not recognize the USV. I took it out and put it in again but I received the same message. All the files in the USV are important to me... Is there a way to recover them.

Hi john491,

A little clarification is requested. Kindly reply if you are referring to a USB Pen Drive (Flash Drive) or it is any other kind of media. Also, include the exact text of the error message that you are getting.
