From the description of the problem I assume the Adobe Flash Player plugin is disabled and needs to be enabled. In your configuration details it is mentioned: "Linux / Chrome 1.0.696.34". I am providing the below link which has steps to Enable or disable Adobe Flash Player in Google Chrome:
