Hello,

I have a conditional formatting issue - and I think maybe the cause is that outcome is already a formula?

In cell U5 I have the following formula:
=IF(T5<>"","CLOSED",IF(M5<>"","OUTSTANDING INVOICE",""))

I would like to color the cells P-T5 IF formula outcome in U5 displays CLOSED; otherwise I would like to leave blank.

I tried different methods, but they all seem to color as maybe the word CLOSED is included in the formula in U5.

Any ideas to solve this?

Thanks in advance

Hi Pille,

I tried this in Excel 2003 and found no issues.

Which version are you working with?

Best regards,
