Toshiba Windows 7 64 bit
Windows will not recognize my printer at start-up. I am being told by Cannon they do not provide drivers for my PIXMA iP90 because Windows is supposed to recognize it "Plug & Play" I guess. I plug and it does not play!!!

Hello,

Try this 1

Click on the below hyperlink "PIXMA iP90" and follow the instructions

PIXMA iP90

Click on "Drivers & Software" --> Select "Operating System" as "Window" from the

drop-down menu.

Since you are using Windows 7 64-bit OS.

Select "OS Version" as "Windows 7 x64" from the drop-down menu.

Click on "Drivers" --> Download the file and install it.

Note : Your printer must be installed via Microsoft Update before you download

and use the above downloaded module.

I have done that several times and also with Cannon's Customer service representative who gave up and said it was a problem with Toshiba's version of Windows & 64 bit. I just am having difficulty believing I am the only one with this problem.

Maybe there is something wrong with your printer driver. Uninstall the driver then install it again. I think it will work out somehow. If it doesn't then you are using the wrong driver. You have compatibility issues with windows.
