Wireless mouse & keyboard stopped working

Can anyone please help me fix this problem? I can still use my Packard Bell computer using the touchscreen. I have replaced the batteries in the mouse and keyboard, but no joy.
I was trying to download photos from my camera yesterday (have done this many times before) and that us when the mouse and keyboard stopped working.

Did you try to resync the transmitter. Often they have a button that needs to be pushed to resync after you change batteries. Either on the transmitter or the device itself.
