Just wondering if anyone can help my grandaughter turned my computer off and on by the button now my computer wont start up it turns off and on thats all it does.

Laptop or desktop computer?

Desktop -
1. try holding the power button down for 30 seconds or more
2. disconnect the power cord from the wall and try the above - then reconnect the cord

laptop -
1. disconnect power cord and remove the battery
2. press and hold down the power button for 30 seconds
3. reconnect cord and battery
4. try to start the laptop in a normal way
