Hi There.
I've spent about 4 hours trying to work out the formula or what I'm doing wrong to no avail, please help me before I lose my mind.
I need to bold a columnn of out standing fines (need to bold the unpaid monetary value) based on whether they are unpaid in the column next to it which is paid or unpaid.
The amounts start in E2 and the corresponding column of paid or unpaid starts in F2.
I'm at a loss and have spent hours online trying to find a resolution.
I am using Excel 2013
Please help, Thanks

Hi
Select the values in column E, ie: E2:E50. Then on the home tab > Conditional Formatting > New Rule > Use a formula to determine which cells to format. Then in the Format values where this formula is true: enter the following formula:=$F2="Unpaid". Format the font bold.
