Tablet cannot be turned on

someone gifted me a android 7''Tab (Mr-Tab).But it is not starting even after long pressing the start button.Even i tried to charge the tab for 4 hrs ,but no result.There is nothing specific mention in the manual for starting the tab.....is there some other method? or is it a faulty piece.Kindly suggest.

Hello,
There is no other way to turn on your tablet.
Have you check the cable? Is it ok?

Yeah the tablet would be faulty.....
