You need to give more information so, there are lots of reasons why your connection wouldnt be working properly, it all depends on the symptoms, which you havent given, i'd start by going into the command prompt (typ cmd in run menu) and type (ipconfig) then ping the ip address of your router. The would be ping then type Ip address. that will tell you if thats working. Would need more info to give a better answer though
Thanks but what i was try to say was that, if one cant ping his default gateway, what are the possible causes.
i want some of technical problems that that DNS can cause on a network. just general ideas.if u can list some.
