Hello, I recently purchased a server and a URL from GoDaddy. I want to make a webpage and host it from home. The less I spend the less my wife will yell at me, I'm already in hot water for the server purchase. I have a general idea of things I need but I'm still learning. I have built a temporary index page for the site and installed Apache on the server (not sure if it is configured right) I do not have a static IP with my home internet service. I was thinking of setting up my server as a home DNS as well but I'm not sure what else I will need to do. I know how to assign roles but have not down it yet. My OS is 2008 R2 Enterprise. Any tips would be great, Thanks everyone in advance.

I bought a Dell PowerEdge 2970 off Ebay. Dual 2.4Ghz Quad core AMD processors, 16GB of Ram, and 6 750GB HDDs. The site will be mostly just pictures for people to look at, a fan site for car nuts.
