Hello,

I am having problem with my HP 6910 laptop's Ram slot. there are two ram slots in this laptop. one is inner side and one is in outside. Inner slot is working properly while when I put ram chip in outer slot and start my laptop. with a gentle press in the back side the system hangs out and does not start anything after that until i restart it and if i put out the ram from the slot. the system works fine but it slows down due to less capacity of the memory. How can I solve this problem? where lies the problem in the ram slot. Please help me to solve this problem. Thanks

You can only determine if the problem is with the motherboard memory socket or the memory cared itself by using another memory card.
