My scan icon on desktop not working and now disappeared altogeth

Hello,
Epson stylus sX215 working on windows 7 but scan icon was not working on computer desktop so I was using the printer scan - I did a recovery but then the icon disappeared when I went to try it again!!! Help, please.

I suggest you re-install the printer/scanner drivers. They can be downloaded from this site if you don't have the original CD.

Still no good - ran the driver and the cd again but still issue unresolved

OK. Then I suspect you have a hardware problem with the scanner.
