1. Unplug and remove the battery.
2. Press and hold the power button for 58 seconds.
3. Replug and start

Hello Ambucias, thank you very much for your replies, I jst tried plugging it 2 an external monitor and it worked fine, I also did a restoration bak 2 normal settings of 2 weeks ago...bt it still shows a black screen... Pls is there any procedure 2 undertake to solve dis issue pls.

Hi
If the external monitor worked, it means that your graphic or video card is in good order. The problem must be with the monitor, it could be one of the following issues:
1. Some circuit to the monitor has broken.
2. Most probably that your back lights must be replaced or
3. You need a new invertor.
All of the above can be diagnosed by a qualified hand-on technician but don't let him tell you that it's your video card.
