My wifi icon has been replaced with the icon of LAN,. with red x on it,. but still i can connect to wifi,. the problem is how can i restore back the wifi icon,.showing the strength of the wifi signal?? pls help! been bothered for a week now!

Hi there,

it sounds like you have uninstalled your network adapters.

can you go to start and type "device manager" and click on it.

under network adapter what do you see?
