Games

Hello,
I can only play certain games on my new laptop ie bubble with saga but not bubble witch2 saga, word games but not farmville2, candycrush but not others ?? I have a new Toshiba C50D -A-138 which has the latest shockwave flash installed and operates windows 8 and the latest internet explorer version !!! I am so frustrated, my old sony vaio was fine with all games and was much faster. do I need to reboot , and if so how do I do that safely ?? can anyone kindly please help ????
