Freeware to convert mov to Windows Movie Maker

I have some videos that were shot with a Nikon camera. They are .mov files. windows Movie Maker does not recognize this format. After searching, I found easefab video converter. It works perfectly and the output WMV videos fit seamlessly WMM, however, it's not free. I wonder is there an app that costs $0 to change mov to wmv for perfectly using in windows movie maker?

Any suggestions will be appreciated!
