Please give me a answer if you know.
I installed a software last night. Then the pc need restart. Then i restart it. But my laptop did not start up. A messge shows that, this pc can't start up for a software or hardware. It need the windows setup disk. I insert the disk. But nothing happend. So,how can i startup my laptop.please help me.

OK, so it may hang because 8.1 is that latest and greatest.

What software did you install?

I did not run this software. Cuz after installed the software,pc needs the restart.Then i restart it. But it didn't restart.

Can you boot in safe mode? Try that. Recover to earlier date prior to download.

Always download from trusted site, nothing is free!

Be patient. Nothing happened means you no longer have a machine.

So when you boot in safe mode, it won't boot?

If so, it is mangled!

What are you doing to get the no name machine into safe mode? Have you "google'd" (is that even a word yet?) the makers site to see what the manufacturer is going to do about it. The last thing any hardware company wants is to know that a random download will bring their machine to the ground!!
