I used to have my linux machine host a cool Native game all of the time, through remote desktop connections, Windows Xp to Ubuntu.
there is nothing special , just make certain that the machine are in the same workgroup, and you have created a username for the remote machine.
I have never ran an Ubuntu game from a windows machine, I have always connected via remote desktop, and ran it like I was sitting at the ubuntu machine.
