Hello,

My computer continues to turn off without warning. I do not play video games or do anything other then the internet and microsoft programs. I have a Dell and dell tech support have run just about every type of diagnostics I can think of, have updated every part and seems like there is no problem at all. However, this keeps happening. While a lot of times it happens when I am on the battery pack, it does happen occasionally when the power cord is plugged in. Dell is now asking me to do a factory reset of the computer however before going to this extreme I am wondering what else I can do? Please help. Using a Dell Inspiron 15R with in intel Core i3 on windows 8

If the recorded a crash dump this product says it will analyze the dump. I have not tested to see if it really works.

Good luck
I tried that program and sadly it didn't show any problems. The computer is not technically crashing, it is just turning off

Then it sounds more like a hardware problem. I can't see how restoring the factory Windows software is going to help. But, sometimes the Dell staff knows more than me.

Good luck
