Hello,

First, I didn't find anything like mine problem on the Internet. It doesn't black screen only. Anyway.

I have a toshiba nb200 netbook. It hasn't battery so I use it only with power cable. Os is xp. The problem is so weird. When I turn it off it won't start for a while. I mean I can hear fan sound for 4 sec and then it stops. When i hit the power button proccessor light lighting for 4 sec too. Just Power cable light and power light are on. The others off. I haven't get any image on screen. That's the wierd part, after that happens which is happen just after the turn off the netbook, about 5 or 6 hours later the netbook turning on without any problem. So what is the solution of this unpleasant situation. I can't use it after restart.

Thanks for the advice but I am pretty sure about not a overheat problem. If it starts I can use it for hours. The problem begins with when turn it off

I did not want to mention this until you give me the temp report, but since you are sure it isn't follow this:
you need to download and update your BIOS

it is your responsibility when you do so, cause it's a sensitive matter it may brick your machine

when updating your BIOS you have to make sure that the device can never be turned off while updating, and you don't have a battery which makes it dangerous

here's your updated version

just to be absolutely sure this is the official website download it from here make sure you update according to your windows version

good luck, and remember we take no responsibility for your attempt to manipulate your BIOS system.

I think I didn't explain myself clearly. Sorry. I will put here the results of temp a soon as I can. I mean if the netbook is will open about 4 hours later. I am sure it will.

Thx for helping.

I did understand that it will start after a while, but just wanted to check the temp, otherwise it is a BIOS issue.
