Hello Benjamin,
Are you able to boot your PC in Safe mode? If you are, then try to restore your computer to previous point/date when it was working. Also, you could try refreshing your PC through this step or through a repair CD if you have one.
While being in Safe mode I suggest you to open the Command prompt and to enter the following command:
sfc /scannow
